Brighton Croquet Club is sorry to pass on the sad news that Daphne Alcorn passed away on August 29th. She had been quite sick for a while and her daughter and family was able to spend valuable time with her in her last weeks, and she is at peace now..

Daphne was a life member of the Club, with many years of service as President and Secretary.  Her leadership and mentorship were greatly appreciated by all our members. She was greatly admired and respected in many roles: as referee, coach, handicapper and player. 

Brighton Croquet Club - a great club for a fun game!

Come and enjoy our beautiful croquet lawns located in the centre of Brighton, Victoria. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced player, you are welcome to come along and enjoy this terrific game.

Croquet is a great way to exercise both body and mind, combining intellectual problem solving with non-strenuous physical activity. It’s a great combination for all ages, sexes and abilities – a truly equal opportunity game. Games can be played socially or be very competitive – the choice is yours.
We play two forms of croquet at the Club – Golf and Association. For both forms each lawn is set with 6 hoops and whichever side ‘runs’ the most hoops wins the game! Click FAQs for more information.

You can hire our Club facilities and we can organise fun and friendly games for you on our 3 lawns.

Or you can hire just the Clubhouse facilities for a meeting or party.

The Club has a BYO license (12pm – 7pm)
