Hi All

AGM

 It was good to see so many members at the Annual General and members meeting on 28^th July. We all enjoyed a lovely lunch and the odd glass of wine was imbibed.

The committee was elected

 I have one more year as president, Clive Morley as senior Vice President and Pam White as Junior Vice president. Terry Frankham continues as Treasurer and Paul Butler was elected as secretary. Julie Love was confirmed as Club Captain. Our committee members , Debbie Butler, Veronica Tilley, Di Commerford and  Bill marks are joined by Jenny Chalker.

Its great to have such commitment and I look forward to the coming year.

Especial thanks to Julie for her work as Secretary for the last few years.

Other business

 A reminder annual fees due

A WhatsApp communication for Golf croquet players is being established to facilitate  the  croquet related communication between members. Members must opt in to use this. There are guidelines for what decisions can be negotiated, time frames etc to ensue inclusion of all members. Members who do not opt in will negotiate with another member to share updates.

A working party of the club committee is meeting with Elwood croquet club to explore options to assist them while their club is “out of use”. This may be up to 2 years and the WP will ensure BCC members are not disadvantaged.

The annual AC Tournament  will take place 30th August -1st September and 6th -8th September . This may impact the use of the lawns for Golf croquet on both Sundays.

Updates will be provided closer to the dates.

New Hoop Holes will be cut  week commencing  19^th August in preparation for the tournament . Please be careful to insert and remove hoops to maintain the integrity of the holes.
