Twilight play /social 4-7pm  Feb  28^th and Mar 28th – BYO nibbles and drinks

Friday 21^st March 4-7pm to host the men’s shed – with a BBQ  Come and help make them welcome.

Members Meeting- Deferred

No issues were put forward by members – meeting will be rescheduled for a later date

Working Bees- Mar 31st and Apr 1st

Something for everyone – Gardening, painting , hedging, cleaning and tidying Declutter shed—and lots more!

A list will go up at the club- if you can’t be there on the 31st Mar or 1st Apr please put your name against a preferred job  and cross off when completed

Painting of Boundary Boards-work and boards donated by men’s shed.

Great if we can get them painted before March 21^st. Once we have the paint we will publish some times for painting- “many hands make light work”.

Bunnings sausage sizzle April 5^th  Roster for volunteers will be posted at club.

Lawns and Sprinklers

You will be pleased that the problem with the sprinklers has been addressed. Committee is looking at options to make management  in the future a bit easier. Hopefully a grant submission will be successful.

We have also been looking at improvement of speed on the lawns and approved some extra lawn grooming which we anticipate will remedy the current speed.

Line Marking

A few members have now trained in line marking ( it is not difficult)  Thanks to those volunteers!

But we could do with more helpers- please consider assisting with this.

There is a roster up at the club. Speak to a committee member if you would like to learn how.

Up coming Parties

These remain a good fundraiser for the club, we have 2 in the pipe line:-

March 9^th 930-1230 Sunday 

March 27^th 4-7pm Thursday about 30 people

Requests for helpers will be posted at club.

Communication

We have recently set up a Whats App group for golf croquet players  which has been useful for quick communication.

It may be useful to have one for association players.  Your consent and emails are necessary before we go ahead.  There will be a sign up form at the club.

Croquet

Association Pennant has started for the autumn season and club  association championships are starting in March.

The golf Croquet training ( TMA)  is coming up too- March 13th Thursday and Wednesday 19^th. Therefore only one lawn available for AC on 13^th.
